Past Work (Archive)

Hi, I’m Val, and I’ve offered different kinds of support over the years, from digital strategy to gentle business clarity. I’m moving in a new direction now, but if you’re curious, here’s a snapshot of what I used to offer.

I used to do hands-on tech, business coaching, and marketing

Websites, SEO, systems, logos, the whole kit and kaboodle. It helped a lot of good people, and I’m proud of it. These days, my work is more reflective and creative, focused on gentle business and personal clarity. I’ve been creating, writing, and exploring tools for sensitive, curious humans. This page exists as an archive, not an offer.

What I used to help with

  • Business strategy: making sense of your goals, your energy, and what’s realistic, so you know your next step without overwhelm.

  • Clarity & messaging: finding your marketing voice and connecting with ease

  • Simple marketing plans: light, doable ways to reach real people, create offerings, connect, nurture and create income.

  • SEO & organic traffic: structure, on-page basics, findability

  • Low-tech setups: booking, email, basic ecommerce without overwhelm

  • Website flows & UX: fewer clicks, calmer journeys

  • DIY support: WordPress/Shopify/Squarespace and more; guidance for non-tech brains

Patterns that worked

  • Start small. Focus on what’s essential.

  • Write like a person. Get rid of the jargon.

  • Invest in the tech you need, ignore hype

  • Choose tech that fits your skills, energy and budget

  • Gentle consistency beats burnout and collapse

  • A holistic approach to business creation is essential

  • Know yourself.

  • Be yourself.

  • Seek inspiration.

Where My Work Is Now

I currently lead digital engagement and strategy for an international non-profit advancing girls’ rights and equality.

Alongside that, I’m exploring what comes next, letting new entrepreneurial and creative projects take shape at their own pace.

This is a quieter chapter: listening, connecting, and building what feels sustainable. I’m interested in meaningful work, not just more of it.

If that resonates, you’re probably part of what’s next. 👋🏼
